Senior Power Device Development
Engineer
This position will report directly to the CTO and be a
key part of the product development team, responsible for
the development of new semiconductor power devices.
The Details
Location: Santa Clara, California
Reporting To: CTO
Education:: PhD in Physics, EE, or Materials Science
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years experience in power semiconductor design
and development
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with advanced
state of the art silicon wafer processing
- Understanding of the opportunities presented by advancements
in compound semiconductor materials
- Sound understanding of the principles of semiconductor
physics and device operation
- Experience in the development of power diodes, IGBTs
and Power MOSFETs
- Track record of power semiconductor development from design concept through product release
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to provide innovative solutions for new product design
- Familiarity and experience with device and process simulation
tools, chip layout tools and PSpice Modelling
- Six Sigma design philosophy
- Excellent written and spoken English
Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative semiconductor devices for power supply
applications
- Contribute in setting the overall direction for device development and the
strategy for developing advanced devices within a fabless
environment
