Mike Heitzman to lead Qspeed Semiconductor into next phase of growth

Qspeed ramps production of high performance power semiconductors; expands market presence in Asia, Europe and North America

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Oct. 26, 2009 – As Qspeed Semiconductor transitions into its next phase of growth, Mike Heitzman who was formerly vice president of marketing for the company, has moved into the role of president and chief executive officer. With more than 25 years in the semiconductor business, he has diverse business expertise in general management, operations, marketing and technology development and strategy implementation.

Heitzman has strong global leadership experience in energy-conserving power management products. He has served as vice president and general manager for ON Semiconductor’s analog and power management products division as well as their technology development organization. His background also includes18 years with Motorola’s Semiconductor Products Sector in a variety of management positions, including leading the start-up and production ramp of a wafer fabrication plant.
